PURPOSE:To obtain a digital filter device with less transient effect due to changeover of a coefficient of a transfer function by operating filter characteristics having plural kinds of coefficients in parallel by a specific arithmetic circuit or a common arithmetic circuit. CONSTITUTION:Plural arithmetic circuits 1 representing the denominator of a transfer function H(Z) express in equation 1 are provided or a common arithmetic circuit operating an arithmetic circuit 1 representing the denominator and an arithmetic circuit 2 representing the numerator in a way of time division is provided. Further, a circuit 4 selecting outputs from the plural arithmetic circuits 1 or the common arithmetic circuit is provided. Then the operation of the plural kinds of coefficients is executed in parallel simultaneously by the plural circuits 1 or the common arithmetic circuit.
