PURPOSE:To obtain a head device capable of azimuth adjustment by supporting a pair of piezoelectric displacement elements having bymorph structures so that their sheet faces can lie on one plane and their displacement ends can face. CONSTITUTION:The piezoelectric displacement elements 1 and 1 are fixed on seats 5 and 5 so that their sheet faces can lie on the same plane and their displacement ends 1'' and 1'' can face. A space between the displacement ends 1'' and 1'' of two piezoelectric displacement elements 1 and 1 is jointed by a head fitting substrate 9 through electric members 8 and 8, and a magnetic head 10 is fitted on the head fitting substrate 9. If a voltage is impressed to the piezoelectric elements 1 and 1 in a head device 100 constituted in such a way, right and left piezoelectric elements 1 and 1 displace to the opposite side each other, and together with the displacement the head fitting substrate 9 supported by the electric members 8 and 8 tilts. Thus the magnetic head 10 on the head fitting substrate 9 shifts its gap position, thereby modifying its azimuth theta. |
