PURPOSE:To prevent the breakdown and detachment of electric wires by protecting the joint areas between the electric wires and the terminals by potting the surface of the cell cover with a thermoresistant resin. CONSTITUTION:A cell case 1 where a cell unit, a heating agent, an igniter, etc. are installed is sealed by welding a cell cover 2 on which an output terminal 3 and an ignition terminal 4 are installed. The output terminal 3 and the ignition terminal 4 are insulated from the cell cover 2 by means of an insulating glass 5. Next, after a potting ring 8 made of an epoxy resin is placed on the surface of the cell cover 2, the internal area of the ring 8 is potted with a potting agent 9 consisting of a thermoresistant resin such as silicone. Accordingly, there is no possibility that the electric wire 6 detaches from the output terminal 3 or the electric wire 7 detaches from the ignition terminal 4 during handling. Besides, there is no possibility that the electric wire 6 detaches from the output terminal 3 during discharge. |
