PURPOSE:To improve the yield of the product of sintered ore in a pallet side wall part by charging raw materials in such a manner that the thickness of a sintering layer is continuously increased from the center in the pallet width direction of the sintering layer toward the side wall then sintering the raw materials. CONSTITUTION:The sintering raw materials 2 packed in a hopper 1 are fed out by a drum feeder 3 and are charged via a sloping plate 4 to a sintering pallet 5. A cut plate 7 disposed atop the sintering raw material 6 is formed into such a shape at which the layer 6 is thickly supplied to the pallet side wall part. The raw materials are distributed curvilinearly by the plate 7 on advancing of the pallet 5 to form the sintering raw material layer 8. The plate 7 is installed to the shape having 550mm added with 10% of 500mm central sintering layer from the distance of 1/4 the width direction of the sintering layer toward the side wall as shown in, for example, the figure. A compression plate 9 is removed and the sintering is executed in this state. As a result, the sintering speed in the width direction of the sintering layer is made uniform and therefore the yield of the product is improved and the unit consumption in the production is decreased.
