PURPOSE:To carry satisfactorily a developer, and to obtain a multicolor image by providing a diamagnetic material for cutting off a magnetic force generated between a magnetic pole part of the first developing body and a magnetic pole part of the second developing body, on an image carrying body. CONSTITUTION:On the inside of a photosensitive drum 14, cylindrical brass 21 functioning as a diamagnetic material opposed to the whole surface of its inside circumference is provided. A range (a) part of this brass 21 is positioned between the first magnetic pole part 8a of the first developing roller 5 of the first developing device 1 and the first magnetic pole part 13a of the second developing roller 10 of the second developing device 3. Accordingly, a magnetic force which is generated between the first magnetic pole part of the first developing roller 5 and the first magnetic pole part of the second developing roller 10 is cut by the brass 21, the magnetic force is generated only between the magnetic pole parts 8a-8e and 13a-13f, and developers, 2, 4 are carried and supplied satisfactorily. |
