Benzoylurea derivs. of formula (I) are new. In (I) A and B each independently = halogen or alkyl; m = zero or 1; n = 0-3; p = 0-2; R = H, -S.CO2R1, S.SO2R1 or -S.NR2R3; R1 and R2 = each independently opt. substd. alkyl or aryl; R3 = opt. substd. alkyl or aryl, -CO2R4, -SO2R4, -COR4, -CO.CO2R4, -CO.NR5R6 or -SO2NR5R6; R4 =opt. substd. alkyl or aryl; R5 and R6 are each independently opt. substd. alkyl or aryl; or R2 and R3 together or R5 and R6 together are opt. substd. alkylene; X = halo, CN, CN,NO2, alkyl or haloalkyl, Y and Z are independently = halo, CN, NO2 or haloalkyl. Optional substituents for alkyl or alkylene are selected from halogen, alkoxy, alkoxy or bonyl, haloalkoxy carbonyl, alkyl carbonyl, haloalkyl carbonyl, alkylsulphonyl and haloalkyl sulphonyl, and opt. substituents for aryl; are selected from these substituents and also alkyl, haloalkyl, CN and NO2. - Also new are phenoxyphenyl cpds. of formula (II) (R7 = NHR or NCO).
