<p>A food preparation device comprising a food cutter (10) adapted to cut food into desired ornate configurations. Preferred embodiments include food cutters having an outer cutting blade (16) attached to a blade support (12) attached to holding portions (18, 20) wherein the cutting blade is adapted to conform to the exterior outline of the desired configuration. The outer cutting blade has an upper cutting edge (40) supported at a position above the blade support, and a blade thickness sufficient to allow the food cutter to be inserted in the food and removed leaving the desired configuration cut substantially intact in the food and readily separable from the food in the desired configuration. Other preferred embodiments include food cutters with inner cutting blades (26) supported on the same or a separate blade support (24) and adapted to provide desired inner features within the desired configuraton.</p> |
