The invention relates to a drivable scissor system for lifting and lowering goods platforms, passenger cabins, parts of theatre stages and the like, consisting of a top frame, a bottom frame and a scissor system arranged between them. Despite all efforts, no success has hitherto been achieved in designing the scissor system in such a way that the goods platform or the passenger cabin or the stage part is lifted exactly perpendicularly. In order to achieve this so that docking at an aircraft can be effected without great difficulty and a part of a theatre stage can be moved into an opening in a theatre stage, etc., in the the scissor system mentioned at the beginning the top frame consists of two longitudinal members, on which the scissor blades are arranged with their top ends in a fixed or rollable manner, and two crossmembers connecting the longitudinal members at their ends, the bottom frame consists of two longitudinal members, on which the scissor blades are arranged with their bottom ends in a fixed and rollable manner, and two crossmembers connecting the longitudinal members at their outer ends, and the scissor system consists of four blades, of which two each are combined to form a scissor between a longitudinal member of the top frame and a longitudinal member of the bottom frame and which are connected to one another by a centre yoke, on which one end of a working cylinder acts, the other end of which is arranged on a crosspiece between the ends of the outer scissor blades.
