PURPOSE:To change a work processing program of each POS terminal easily by reading out various program data necessary for the work processing from a file controller prior to the start of the work and storing the data in a RAM. CONSTITUTION:The file controller 1 is connected to ECRs 2-5 which are the POS terminals through a closed loop line 6. When a host computer 15 forms work processing program data for the ECRs 2-5, the controller 1 stores the program data in a floppy disk device 13. Consequently, the program data stored in the device 13 can be transmitted to respective ECRs 2-5 only by setting a program loading mode and stored in RAMs of respective ECRs 2-5. If the program is to be changed, it is unnecessary to change the program in each ECR and the program can be easily changed only by setting the program to be changed in the controller 1. |
