Multi-frequency tone generator, particularly for telephone sets

An increase in the volume and an improvement in the frequency characteristic is achieved in a multi-frequency tone generator with a box-shaped housing composed of two housing halves, in which a piezoelectrically excitable diaphragm disc is clamped between mutually opposite annular steps with the interposition of damping elastic rings, in that on one of the annular steps projections are provided which extend in the radial direction essentially over the entire ring width of the elastic rings and have essentially uniform dimension in the circumferential direction over the ring width. In particular, the projections have a rectangular shape in the top view and are equipped with flat end faces which rest against the adjacent elastic ring.
