<p>PURPOSE:To control excessive rise of supercharge pressure by controlling the supercharge pressure under acceleration through variable capacity means while correcting the control amount of exhaust bypass valve such that it is opened forcefully upon rising of the supercharge pressure to predetermined level. CONSTITUTION:In supercharge pressure control system for controlling the supercharge pressure of engine 8 through variable capacity means 10 for varying A/R of turbo-charger exhaust turbine and an exhaust bypath detouring the exhaust turbine with correspondence to the operating condition, control amount operating means 2, 3 for operating the control amount of the capacity varying means 10 and the exhaust bypass valve 11 with correspondence to the output from an engine operating condition detecting means 1 are provided. Upon decision of the engine accelerating condition through acceleration deciding means 4, correcting means 7 will correct the control amount of said operating means 3 such that the exhaust bypass valve 11 is opened for predetermined time from the time point when the supercharge pressure detected through supercharge pressure detecting means 9 has reached to predetermined level.</p> |
