The advertisement carrier on shopping trolleys according to the innovation is used for exchangeably receiving, for example, advertising placards, product offers, price tags or the like, which are intended to remind the consumer, as buyer in commercial outlets, of a particular product immediately before shopping. The advertisement carrier according to innovation offers the advantages that it can be attached easily, without the use of a tool, quickly and in a relatively theft-proof manner, the actual advertising placard or the like is accommodated in the advertisement carrier such that it can be easily and quickly exchanged, similarly without the use of a tool and only by people, who are entrusted with the clamping closure, and, in addition, the advertisement carrier with or without protective corners for the basket, can advantageously be attached on the front side of the basket lattice, coinciding with the latter, in such a manner that the advertising placard or the like is visible from the outside and the inside and that, taking into consideration the specified dimensions of the front sides of the shopping trolley baskets in use, the advantageous, largest possible format DIN A4 of the advertising placards or the like can be used.
