Electric food processor tool ejector - uses ejection sleeve operated by manual releasing element and simultaneously serving as power transmitting element

The manually-operated tool ejection device has an ejection sleeve (1) displaced axially upon operation of a release element (4). The ejection sleeve (1) simultaneously acts as the load transmission element with an inner pin (6) to which one tool is fitted, a further tool ejected by its endface. Pref. the release element (4) and the ejection sleeve (1) are returned to their original positions by respective return springs (16,17) upon the manual ejection force being released. The axial displacement of the ejection sleeve (1) relative to its bearing (11) is pref. limited by an outer cog (5) forming part of the drive transmission chain. ADVANTAGE - Allows tool ejection when direct access from above along tool centre line is not possible.
