PURPOSE:To enable sampling according to the drainage which is portable with a small and simple construction, by a method wherein a sample is introduced into an evaporation cell through a pump and an overflow tube from a drain passage to accomplish the action of evaporation corresponding to the flow rate of drain at a sample taking section and a concentrated sample water is stored and sampled. CONSTITUTION:A sampling water of a drain or the like is drawn continuously with a pump 31 from a drain passage 30 to be fed to an overflow tube 34 after the mixture of sand, dust and the like contained in the sample water is removed with a filter 33. When the sample water is stored in fixed quantities in an evaporation cell 36 connected to the overflow tube 34 in a connecting tube structure at the same water level with the overflow tube 34. The inside of a constant temperature chamber 38 housing the evaporation cell 36 is kept at about 40 deg. with a temperature controlling heater 39. A control current is fed to a heater 41 in the evaporation cell 36 from a current controller 44 in proportion to the flow rate of drain in the drain passage 30 with flowmeter 42. Thus, the action of evaporation is accomplished according to the flow rate of drain in the evaporation cell 36. |
