1,080,821. Jigs. SCHUCHTERMANN & KREMER-BAUM FUR AUFBEREITUNG A.G. Jan. 28, 1965 [Sept. 1, 1964], No. 3884/ 65. Heading B2H. In a pneumatic twin wet-process jig for grading minerals, e.g. pit coal and having pulsation chambers 8 disposed below the jig screens 7, Fig. 2 (not shown), a receiver 3 for the compressed-air extends between the two settling tanks 1, 2 in the longitudinal direction of the jig and serve as a support for the air-control valves 9, 10 secured thereto. The tanks are divided by partitions 4 into settling chambers 6 in which the pulsation chambers 8 are provided. The receiver 3 may be constructed as a separate structural unit, or, as shown, is formed by welding walls 11, 12 between the tanks. The valves 9, 10 are arranged in the rows and communicate with the receiver 3 via pipes 13, 14 and with the chambers 8 via lines 15, 16 which pass through the receiver and are connected to the chambers 8 by resilient collars 17, 18. The valves connect the chambers 8 alternately with the receiver through the lines 15, 16 and with the atmosphere through pipe connections 19, 20. The actuation of the valves 9 is displaced in phase relatively to the actuation of the valves 10.
|
