Liq. fuel enters and leaves the filter (2) through openings (5,6) in its cover (4). The body (3) incorporates a threaded drain hole (8) from which a threaded stopper may be removed for drainage of accumulated water. A resistive heating element (10) is enclosed in a tube (11) whose lower end is bonded to a support (12) with a thread (13) for screwing into the drain hole. A cable (16) connects the element to one terminal (18) of a bimetallic switch (19) screwed (20) into the base of an octagonal body (15) connected to the support. The switch may be set to close below 40 deg.C. |
