INTERCONNECTION DEVICE FOR TRANSMITTING AN AUDIO SIGNAL FROM A TELEVISION RECEIVER TO A STEREOPHONIC AMPLIFIER

An interconnection device for transmitting an audio signal from a television receiver to a stereophonic amplifier, this television receiver comprising a sound amplifier provided with an output jack having an output terminal and a ground terminal, and the stereophonic amplifier comprising a left and a right auxiliary input jack each having an input terminal and a ground terminal. The interconnection device is provided with a first plug having a first and a second terminals respectively connectable with the output and ground terminals of the output jack of the sound amplifier of television receiver. The interconnection device is also provided with a second and a third plugs intended for insertion in the left and right input jacks of the stereo amplifier, respectively. The second and third plugs each comprises a first and a second terminals respectively connectable to the input and ground terminals of the respective input jack of the stereophonic amplifier. A resistor,having a low ohmic value, is provided with a first terminal connected to the first terminals of the first, second and third plugs,and a second terminal connected to the second terminals of these three plugs, through respective conductors. An expander, formed with a resistor in series with the filament of a lamp, and a filter for blocking a 15 kHz signal component of the audio signal, which is generated by the video horizontal synchronizing signal of the television receiver, may also be mounted between the resistor and the second and third plugs which are intended for insertion in the left and right input jacks of the stereo amplifier.
