<p>PURPOSE:To enhance the measuring accuracy of a voltage electric field by compensating the change in the temp. of an electrooptical crystal, by arranging a crystal having optical anisotropy for the compensation of temp. on the light path between a polarizer and a detector. CONSTITUTION:A monoaxial, biaxial or optically active monocrystal 10 is arranged between an electrooptical crystal 2 and a lambda/4 plate 3 provided between a polarizer 1 and a detector 4. As the crystal 2, a cubic Bi4Ge3O12 monocrystal is used and the azimuth thereof is taken so that the surface having an electrode 6 provided thereto is (110) and the surface vertical to the advance direction of a light 7 is (-110). By selecting the monocrystal 10 so that (change in temp. of crystal 2)=-(change in temp. of monocrystal 10) is formed in light intensity detected by a light detector 5, the variation in light intensity due to temp. can be reduced.</p> |
