PURPOSE:To increase heating efficiency and to lower manufacturing cost in a pulsating burner, by providing a heating unit by joining both joint areas of the primary and the secondary cast-molded components to each other, and by forming spaces to provide combustion gas flow passages in the heating unit. CONSTITUTION:Nearly flat primary and secondary components 58 and 59 are cast-molded separately. Recesses 61, 61' to form combustion chambers, recesses 62, 62' to form tail pipe spaces, recesses 63, 63' to form decoupler spaces, and recesses 64, 64' to form heat exchanger spaces are respectively provided on both joint areas 60, 60' of components 58 and 59. They are joined to each other in one body to compose a heating unit 41. Manufacturing of heating unit for a pulsating burner is made easy by monolithically cast-molding the heating unit 41. Besides, spaces to form flow passages for combustion gas can freely be designed in the heating unit 41, so that the temperature on the whole surface of a heating unit 41 at the time of pulsating combustion can be unified, as a result, the efficiency of a heating unit can be increased. |
