PURPOSE:To make it possible to assemble many parts at a time by fixing a cylindrical cam and plural flat cams to the main shaft of an automatic assembling machine for small parts and causing a chuck fixing shaft to move up and down or before and behind by the rotation of the main shaft. CONSTITUTION:A main shaft 1 supported on bearings 41, 25 assembled in a turntable 40 making intermittent motion is formed in ball spline structure, and is rotated through a coupling 31 by a motor 34. A key 22 is fixed to the main shaft 1 to rotate a cylindrical cam 21 together with the main shaft 1. A cam follower 20 moves therefore up and down to cause a base plate 14 to move up and down through a cam follower supporting block 19. Plural shafts 42 guided by plural guide blocks 38 mounted on a stationary plate 23 act as a detent so as to prevent the base plate 14 from rotating as the main shaft 1 rotates. In addition, a spring 36 partially supports the weight of all the parts fixed to the base plate 14 to make the motion of the cylindrical grooved cam smooth. |
