PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of a valve and to improve working efficiency by installing a valve device to either stationary or moving die without providing said device across both dies thereby eliminating the need for boring a hole for sliding of a valve disk and eliminating the cause for flashing to eliminate the need for cleaning. CONSTITUTION:This valve device is constituted of a seat 36 which is attached to either of the stationary die 31 or moving die 33 and has a passage 38 in the axial direction, the valve disk 37 which opens and closes the passage 38 by a projection 37A at the top end thereof and of which the end face of the projection mates flush with the end face of the seat upon closing of the passage 38, a spring 40 which presses the valve disk 37 always in one way, a sensor which is embedded in the die on one side so as to face the cavity 34 formed of both dies 31, 33 and detects the flow of the molten metal into the cavity 34 and valve disk moving mechanisms 41, 41 which close the passage 38 by moving the disk 37 according to the signal from the sensor. |
