The present invention relates to the linking function between a fixed arm and an arm to be manoeuvred. The motorised balljoint is characterised by a fork carrying a spider of the cardan type driven in rotation by means of a splined end, by a motor. A second motor coupled to the other splined end of the spider drives the arm to be manoeuvred rotatably about a fixed point. This type of balljoint comprises 2 degrees of freedom from one point, it applies as an articulation to lifting and manipulating appliances and robots. <IMAGE>
