Ski boot comprising a system for gripping the foot 10 in the shell 1, consisting of a holding element 15 formed from two parts 16, 17 which can be brought closer together and a screw 23/nut 21 system intended to bring these two parts 16, 17 closer together, characterised: - on the one hand, in that the free ends 20, 30 of the two parts 16, 17 which can be brought closer together of the holding element 15 mutually overlap at the level of the top of the foot; - and, on the other hand, in that the inclined clamping screw 23 in the shell 1 interacts with a movable slide 21 forming a nut, which actuates the part 17 which can be brought closer of the holding element arranged on the internal side of the shell 1, this internal part 17 overlapping, in the shell 1, the other part 16 which can be brought closer arranged on the external side of the shell 1. <IMAGE>
