PRODUCTION OF LIQUID CRYSTAL PANEL

PURPOSE:To bring conductive members which connect the four corners of the common electrode of the 2nd substrate to the electrodes of the 1st substrate and the electrodes in low resistance contact by impressing a voltage to the boundary between said conductive members and the electrodes. CONSTITUTION:The 2nd substrate 2 is placed on the 1st substrate 1 having the electrodes B5 at the four corners and the common electrode 4 thereof is brought into contact with the electrodes B5. After a liquid crystal is sealed between the substrates, the electrode B-a is connected to the electrode B-c by a connecting wire 21. Short circuit current flows in the peripheral part of the 2nd substrate when the voltage is impressed between the terminal Y thereof and the terminal Z of the connecting wire 23 of the electrode B-b and therefore no influence is exerted to the element formed in the inside. The low resistance connection is thus made possible and the quality of the display image is improved.
