<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the white omission after synthesization and to improve operability by providing a synthesization and display control means, changing brightness in a synthesization original picture area in the picture area after synthesization from other picture areas except said area and displaying them. CONSTITUTION:When the synthesization and display control means A burries and synthesizes the synthesization original picture area in a synthesization destination picture area, said means A synthesizes the picture area with the size of the synthesization destination picture area if the synthesization original picture area is larger than the synthesization destination picture area. Display information on the synthesization original picture area of a synthesization original is developed in the buffer frame of a display control part B with the aid of high brightness information, while that on the part of the synthesization original (synthesization destination picture area - synthesization original picture area) is displayed with low brightness information. This display is developed in the frame buffer of the control part B, which displays the display information developed in the frame buffer by the means A on a CRTC. Thus the white omission after synthesization can be prevented to eliminate the failure of the burry synthesization, and the operability can be improved.</p> |
