PURPOSE:To collate efficiently internal processing data from the external by dividing the address of a memory into a low-order part and a high-order part and substituting the low-order part with data inputted from the external when the memory is collated from the external. CONSTITUTION:In case that data in a memory 1 is used in a microprocessor, contents of the memory 1 designated by the address which is set to an address register 8 through an internal data bus 7 are outputted to the internal data bus 7 through a buffer 10. In case that the incorporated memory 1 is referred from the external, low-order bits of the value of the address in which contents should by referred are inputted from an external input terminal, and low-order bits of the address inputted to the address register 8 by the internal data bus 7 are substituted with the value of said low-order bits by a substituting circuit 9, and this new address is set to the address register 8. Contents of the memory 1 designated by this new address are outputted to an output terminal 5 through a buffer 11.
