PURPOSE:To simplify dialing operation by printing a patternized telephone number of the opposite on a business card and providing a mean to read out the pattern to the telephone set side and transmit automatically it to the line. CONSTITUTION:The telephone number of the opposite is patternized and printed on the business card. The said pattern is read by light emitting diodes LED 1-LED5 and photo diodes PD1-PD5 which are provided on the telephone- system side. A decoder U17 converts the 4-bit code signal read out as stated above into numbers of 1-0, and outputs the resulting number. Relays RL0-RL9 are energized by the output of the decoder U17, and makes the contacts rl0-rl9 on and off. To the said contacts rl0-rl9, a pulse generator U25 is connected, which transmits to the number of pulses correspondent to each of the energized contacts.
