PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency by feeding back energy stored in a snubber capacitor and consumed by a snubber resistor through 3-winding transformer and positive, negative side switches to a power source side. CONSTITUTION:A series circuit of feedback diodes 5A, 5B, snubber capacitors 4A, 4B and snubber diodes 3A, 3B is connected in parallel with GTO thyristors 6A, 6B. The primary winding 21 of a 3-winding transformer 12 is connected between the midpoint of filter capacitors 1A, 1B and the midpoint of the upper and lower arms of an inverter, one end of the second winding 22 of the transformer 12 is connected with the connecting point of the capacitor 4A and the diode 3A, and the other end is connected with the cathode of a negative side thyristor 13B. Similarly, the third winding 23 of the transformer 12 is connected. Energy stored in the capacitors 4A, 4B is fed back to a power source side through the transformer 12 and the thyristors 13A, 13B. |
