PURPOSE:To expand the movable range of a working tool by supporting pivotally an arm attached with the working tool at one end to a device body in such a manner that the arm can be driven to oscillate and providing a parallel sliding mechanism between a member attached to moving carriage and the device body in such a manner that said mechanism can be moved in the direction parallel with the oscillation center of the arm. CONSTITUTION:An X-axis driving motor 4 is driven by a controller to oscillate the oscillation arm 14 around the output shaft of a speed reducer 5 via the speed reducer 5 and the lateral position of a welding torch 15 attached to the top end thereof is corrected in the case of adjusting the torch 16 in the lateral direction. A Y-axis driving motor 7 is driven by the controller to rotate a ball screw 9 via a pulley 8, a belt 12 and a pulley 11 in the case of adjusting the height of the torch 15. A sliding seat 13 screwed thereto moves vertically with respect to the ball screw 9 and the height of the torch 15 is thus adjusted.
