PURPOSE:To enable to switch to a commercial power source by providing an inner induced voltage attenuator, thereby attenuating the inner induced voltage immediately after an inverter defect is tripped. CONSTITUTION:When a defect occurs in an inverter, an input switch 2 is opened to stop the operations of an inverter converter 3 and a thyristor inverter 5, and an output switch 6 is then opened to set an induction motor 1 to free- running decelerating state. At this time, a thyristor switch 10 of an induced voltage attenuator 8 is fired by a controller 11 to discharge the inner induced voltage of the motor 1 by an attenuating resistor 9. Thus, the motor 1 can be energized by a commercial power source about approx. 1sec from the inverter defection trip. |
