PURPOSE:To use the distribution of rennin or a precursor thereof in tissue or blood in measurement and detection, by obtaining serum having specific reactivity to a rennin precursor and propeptide thereof from blood obtained by immunizing a warm-blooded animal with specific peptide synthesized by a proper method. CONSTITUTION:A warm-blooded animal such as a rabbit is immunized with peptide represented by formula obtained by a peptide synthetic method which may be either one of a liquid phase method and a solid phase method and serum sampled from the blood of the immunized warm-blooded animal is used as anti-serum specifically reacting a rennin precursor and propeptide thereof. By this method, the measurement of the rennin precursor or the like is enabled with high sensitivity. |
