PURPOSE:To obtain a device to which a backup use repeating branch device can be connected, and also a repeating branch device of other circuit can be connected, by executing a backup of a repeating branch operation electrically and by an optical signal to the backup use repeating branch device and the repeating branch device of other circuit, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A titled device is provided with the first light-electricity converting part 2, the first detecting means for generating an an abnormality signal for showing its abnormality, the first electricity-light converting part 4, the first external electric signal input/output means 7, the first switch part 3, the second light-electricity converting part 12, the second detecting means 13 for generating an abnormality signal for showing its abnormality, the second electricity-light converting part 4, the second external electric signal input/output means 8, and the second switch part 10. Also, this device is provided with a monitor control part 11 for processing an abnormality signal from first detecting means 6 and the second detecting means 13, and also the first detecting means and the second detecting means of a backup use repeating branch device corresponding to said means, supplying it to the second electricity-light converting part 12, and also controlling and output timing of an up-direction electric signal of at least partial light-electricity converters of the second light-electricity converting part 9. |
