PURPOSE:To press the weld zones of a shape steel by rollers to correct strain and to remove residual stress by providing a lower straightening feed roller to the center of a stand, providing pressurizing machines having sliding parts on both sides thereof and providing an upper straightening roller to the top end of the sliding parts. CONSTITUTION:The weld zones 7a, 7'a of the welded H-beam or welding tee are placed on the lower straightening roller 1 at the center of the stand 5 and free rollers 8, 8'. The upper straightening rollers 2, 2 of the pressurizing machines 3, 3 are then positioned to the position suitable for sliding of the sliding parts 4, 4 to pressurize the weld zones 7a, 7'a. The roller 1 is rotated to feed the shape steel and to extend only the shrunk part of the shape steel by welding, by which said part is straightened. The strength of the shape steel is therefore not affected at all. |
