PURPOSE:To produce a crystallized molded glass article having various colors and patterns, by adding a Ca compound composed mainly of CaF2 and fluorine mica to a glass composition, and molding and sintering the obtained frits. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of (A) CaF2 and/or a CaF2-producing component, (B) fluorine mica and/or a component producing fluorine mica and (C) glass or a glass-producing component is melted, and the obtained frits are if necessary (1) crystallized, or (2) formed, sintered and crystallized, or (3) sintered and crystallized at the same time, to obtain the objective crystallized molded glass article. Clear and beautiful vari-colored patterns which cannot be attaind in conventional article can be formed by the optical effect caused by the interaction of the component A and the component B.
