A household appliance with a vertically adjustable foot (2) which is screwed into a guide body (5) which is held in a receiving aperture in the housing bottom (4) or bottom frame of the appliance and has an adjustment safeguard. The guide body (5) is constructed as a punched nut (6), rivet nut or welded nut. A plastic securing ring (7) is integrated in the guide body (5). Together with the securing ring (7) the guide body (5) is a fixed constituent of the housing bottom (4).
