The invention relates to a lightweight luggage-space lid for the bodies of vehicles which requires little outlay in terms of production. This luggage-space lid is characterised in that an extruded profile in which a rubber-belt hinge is attached in a positively engaging fashion is also attached in a positively engaging fashion to the edge of a composite plate. <IMAGE>
