PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of assembling of a light pickup and an actuator by constituting a positioning contact face for coupling the actuator and light pickup of a conical slanted face that sets an optional point on the optic axis as anu apex. CONSTITUTION:A convex conical slanted face 20S is formed on the lower end part of a housing 20. The conical slanted face 20S constitutes a part of positioning contact face for coupling with a light pickup 90 in the housing 20, andis fabricated with an optional point P on the optical axis 0-0 of an objec tive lens as a center. On the other hand, a recessed conical slanted face 90S is formed on the upper end face of the light pickup 90. The conical slanted face 90S constitutes a part of a positioning contace face for coupling with the housing 20 in the light pickup 90and is fabricated with an optional point P'on the optic axis 0'-0' of laser light positioned at the center of the light pickup 90 as a center. Conical slanted faces 20S, 90S are fabricated at the same degree of tapering.
