PURPOSE:To prevent the environmental pollution and permit speedy heating by installing a series resistance type plug for fuel vaporization onto a combustion burner and controlling temperature through the turning-ON/OFF a resister, in the combustion burner of the heater for a vehicle driven by an internal-combustion engine. CONSTITUTION:When a starter motor is driven by turning-ON a key switch 24, and an engine is started, a glow-plug control switch 194d is closed by the signal of a main control circuit 191, and the resistance 101 of a flow plug 100 is put into electric conduction through a minute resistor 106 having a positive temperature coefficient, and the temperature of the glow plug rises. When the temperature of the glow plug 100 reaches a prescribed value, the resistance value of the resistor 106 increases, and the switch 194d is opened by the transmitted signal, and 194b is closed, and the resistors 101 and 108 are connected in series, and the electric current reduces. When the temperature for the operation of a combustion-temperature sensor 109 is realized, the switches 194b and 194d are opened, and the operation of the glow plug 100 is suspended. With such constitution, speedy heating is permitted. |
