PURPOSE:To develop spike function without damaging road surface by installing a continuous clutch plate device onto a wheel and driving said device by a throttle wire and projecting and retreating spikes by operating the wire buried into a tire. CONSTITUTION:When a base throttle wire 20 is pulled, a pulling metal fitting not shown in the figure operates, and a cam 5 and a clutch cutting plate 4 are tightened upwardly around a shaft 28. Then, a continuous clutch 6 is pushed-up successively by the revolution of a tire 1 by the cam 5 through a roller 7. Then, a clutch stop plate 9 pulls a throttle wire 2 buried into the tire 1 and spikes 26 are projected to the surface of the tire 1, and spike fuction is developed. When the base throttle wire 20 is returned, the cam 5 and the clutch plate 4 are restored by springs, and also the clutch stop plate 9 and the continuous clutch plate 6 are restored, and spikes 26 are retreated. With such constitution, spike effect can be developed, preventing road surface from being damaged. |
