<p>PURPOSE:An ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer that is produced by copolymerization with a small amount of a specific vinyl monomer bearing acid amide groups, thereby improving tesile properties at high temperatures. CONSTITUTION:As the specific vinyl monomer, is used a vinyl monomer, bearing acidamide groups of the formula (R<1>, R<2> are 1-10C alkyl; x is 0,1; n is 1-10). The molar ratio of tetrafluoroethylene/ethylene charged is set to about 70/30-90/10 and during the copolymerization, the above monomer mixture of 40/60-60/40 is charged and the vinyl monomer also is added in a concentration of 0.1-10 mol%, preferably 0.3- 5 mol%, thus producing said ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer with molar ratio content of 40/60-60/40 tetrafluoroethylene/ethylene, vinyl monomer content of 0.1-10 mol%, and a volum flow rate of 10-500 mm<3>/sec.</p> |
