PURPOSE:To provide the titled coating material composed of an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer, having specific water-permeability and cross-sectional structure, capable of controlling the water-permeability, having excellent heat- insulation, and suitable for greenhouse for cultivation. CONSTITUTION:An ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer containing 50-85mol% vinyl alcohol unit is formed in the form of a film having a water-permeability of 400-6,000g/m<2>.24hr, a haze of <=40%, and a cross-sectional structure consisting of a surface skin layer and a core layer.
