<p>A centrifuge is proposed for dehydrating and drying pre-dehydrated sludges and organic materials as well as for the extraction and/or hydrolysis of raw materials, the centrifuge drum (2) of which centrifuge has an outer surface formed at least partially by a wedge- wire screen. The drum is received in a compression-proof, gas-tightly sealable housing to which steam supply lines, input locks (18) and output locks (19) are connected. Inside the centrifuge drum (2), a conveyor worm (3) is mounted coaxially rotatably and its speed of rotation can be adjusted differently from the speed of rotation of the centrifuge drum. The conveyor worm (3) is arranged on a hollow shaft (4) which has radial punch-through holes (6) and is connected with a conveyor device (5) for the fed material. <IMAGE></p> |
