A formulation of a daily diet for use in the treatment of obesity comprising from 45g to 75g protein, from 50g to 180g carbohydrate, from 3g to 27g fat, at least 5g fibre and at least the minimum recommended daily allowances of minerals and vitamins, and containing from 800 to 1,200 KCals per daily dose to be administered partly in the form of a liquid component and partly in the form of a solid component. |
