PURPOSE:To record a picture when it cannot be transferred and to eliminate operator's double work at the originating side by controlling the transfer or recording by a control means in accordance with stored contents of a memory means. CONSTITUTION:An operating part 4 is operated to register transfer destination information, which is stored in the transfer destination area 8-1 of a memory part 8. A reading part 7 executes an addition message, which is stored in the addition message area 8-2 of the memory part 8. When a transfer destination code transmitted from a calling station side is not registered, the message is received and recorded. At this time, a mark or a character for showing the transfer destination code and transfer request such as 'transfer request' is printed on a recording paper. The dial signal of the transfer destination is outputted to an automatic dialing part 13 to execute a call action to the transfer destination, a switching instruction signal 3 is outputted to switching relays 15 and 16 to connect a telephone circuit 11a to that 11b, whereby the connection to the transfer destination from the calling station side is completed and the transfer is carried out.
