发明名称 ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE WITH STORED ENERGY FLYWHEEL
摘要 PURPOSE:To increase the mechanical strength of a rotor and to drive it in a high efficiency by providing magnetic units radially opposed to the rotor, mounting a permanent magnet at one of the units, and disposing a stator coil in the air gap. CONSTITUTION:In a device for storing electric energy converted to the rotary inertial energy of a flywheel 4 and reversely converting it to the electric energy at necessary time, an outside unit 5a and an inside unit 5b are concentrically formed radially through an air gap on a rotor 5 of magnetic material. A permanent magnet 16 is mounted on one of the opposed portions. A stator coil 7 is mounted in the air gap. Thus, a magnetic flux which crosses the coil 7 is circulated through the back of the rotor in the shortest distance. Thus, the mechanical strength can be increased by reducing the number of poles, and stored energy amount can be increased by a low frequency power source.
