PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance of a power unit against a car body frame by narrowing a car body in the forward and backward direction up to the depth reaching the power unit against the car body frame and each connection section of each buffer and a forming a recess so as to open outward in the car width direction. CONSTITUTION:A compact car supports driving wheels 5 through a power unit 4 in to which an engine 3 is fit at the forward and backward one end, for example, rear end of a car body frame 1 that forms a car room 2 and provides a buffer 6 between the power unit 4 and the car body frame 1. In this case, the car body is narrowed in the forward and backward direction up to the depth reaching the power unit 4 against the car body frame 1 and the respective connection sections 4c and 6a at the rear end lower part of the car body 1 and a recess 7 is formed so as to open outward in the car width direction. Besides, a fender that covers a recess 7 is freely mounted and demounted on the car body frame 1. As a result, the fender can be removed from the car body 1, thereby facilitating the maintenance of the power unit 4. |
