PURPOSE:To execute a processing with regard to a document/image data, too, in a related data base by providing a document/image file management system connected to a printer attribute. CONSTITUTION:A command inputted by a terminal work station is analyzed by a command analyzing part 2. Subsequently, by a related operation processing part 3, an operation to a relation table stored in a large capacity magnetic disk device 4 is executed in accordance with an operation processing procedure, a result of the operation is analyzed by a result analyzing part 6, and a processing procedure of an image data is generated. Also, by an image file managing part 7, a processing operation to a document/image data stored in an optical disk device 8 is executed in accordance with the processing procedure. Subsequently, the document/image data based on a result of the processing is transferred to a terminal work station 1 by a result transfer part 5, and an ouptut display is executed.
