<p>PURPOSE:To improve the separation ratio without deteriorating high oxygen permeability by forming the thin film of polyorganosiloxane combined with a fluorine-contg. org. compd. on the surface of a porous base body. CONSTITUTION:After air and water on the surface of a porous base body 25 are completely removed by argon plasma, hexamethyldisiloxane vapor is intro duced while keeping the pressure at 0.15torr, and 40W electric power 15kHz frequency is impressed to carry out plasma polymerization. Argon plasma is again generated to generate a radical active point in the high molecular chain of polyhexamethyldisiloxane 30. Then pentafluorostyrene vapor is introduced, the material is allowed to stand for 24hr, and the radical active point reacts with the vinyl group of the pentafluorostyrene to form a bond. Porous polypropylene is used for the base body 25.</p> |
