PURPOSE:To increase the driving capacity by driving a member through two sets of drive units comprised at least of two air-back type pneumatic actuators which will inflate through supply/discharge of pressurized fluid and extend/ contract in axial direction. CONSTITUTION:The drive unit is provided with a set of drive units comprised of two air-back type pneumatic actuators 30 (30a-30d) which will inflate through supply/discharge of pressurized fluid from the fittings 9a-9d and produce extending/contracting force in axial direction. One end of the actuators 30a, 30b in respective drive unit are coupled to the fixed section 33 while the other ends are coupled through the wires 14a, 14b to the other actuators 30b, 30c. The wires 14a, 14b are wound over the idling members 31a, 31b. Then the other ends of the other actuators 30b, 30c are coupled through a wire 14c entrained over a member 32 to be driven thus to constitute a driving system. |
