PURPOSE:To obtain a jig for heat treatment at high temp. with superior durability and high work efficiency by using a thin plate of a metal having a high m.p. as a material forming a spacer as a jig. CONSTITUTION:When support plates each having an article to be treated on the surface are piled up, a thin plate of a metal having a high m.p. such as W or Mo is used as a material forming a jig to be interposed between the support plates, that is, a spacer. For example, a sintered body of Mo is subjected to conventional rotary swaging and rolling to manufacture a thin plate, and this thin plate is formed into a spacer 1.
